Message From Mrs. S.
October 16th, 2008We received this heartwarming e-mail from Lilly’s teacher. Made us proud…
I have been meaning to send you an email, but have been so busy I haven’t gotten a chance to! I just wanted to write you and thank you for bringing up such a well-mannered little girl! Not a day goes by when Lilly doesn’t say her “please, thank you and your welcomes.” I was raised by parents who really valued good manners, so when I see students who have parents that obviously value good manners too it brings a smile to my face. She is a joy to have in the classroom and there are times when I would just love to take her home with me:) Thank you for being such positive parents. Your love and effort definitely shows in your daughter!
Darrell and I wholeheartedly agree with Lilly’s teacher. BOTH your girls are polite and caring and that sure reflects back to you. Yes, they are their own little people with their own personalities etc but parents have a great deal of influence, especially at a young age!! Also want to comment on the election. How GREAT our next president is Obama! He can’t fix everything all at once and as he said it might take years. What a milestone for our country. Being black really has nothing to do with it but a a big plus for us and the world. Love you guys and see you SOON!
